More Ultimazzurra

....Ultimazzurra gets a phat (5.5") rear Astralite wheel and 180mm rear tire in preparation for Willow Springs next week. How's that for some vintage blingage...

Dear Ed,

Some people here want to know how you managed some tire/chain clearance with that giant rear tire. Original 650 engine cases, and rearwheel still centered?

If you use the Verlicchi Aluminum swingarm (common on 750 SPORT, 900ss, ETC), it's very easy. You just have to set your clearances correctly by making spacers. Yes, those are 650 cases. Good luck.

Thank you very much. I think you have to create some extra offset on the front chainwheel? I presume that is the only non standard item?

Greetings, Ben.

Yeah, the extra front sprocket clearance helps. I make 520 chain pantah front sprockets that make this easier.

Ed,

I like the way this rear faring looks. Where can I get one? Or is it custom? Thanks
